Why bother?

So where do I start? Hmm... let's start with last night when I finally had the money to get seriously_em her birthday present :) She is seriously awesome, and I would have gotten her the 12 month account but was about $3 short and there was no way my dad would have lent me it lol. But hey, at least that means I can get her something for Christmas :P. Also I thought it was kind of a practical gift seeing as we're in different timezones and she is going off to school soon so we may not be able to talk much over MSN so I figured we could just comment-spam her LJ.

So shortly after that I started getting a headache so I went to bed and I woke up about 40 minutes ago feeling like utter crap. Well, it wasn't too bad when I was laying down but as soon as I sat up I had a bit of a coughing fit. I got up anyway when my alarm went off and started trying to get ready but now my stomach hurts. I think Karma is seriously out to get me from all those times I was 'sick'. Oh well, my dad gave me the option of staying home today so I think after I finish this entry I will go curl up in bed with my books and drink soup or something.
